Born Natalie Ivelisse Amenula in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to a Puerto Rican mother and a half Puerto Rican/half East Indian father, Natalie was raised in Temecula, California, widely known as Wine Country, an hour outside of the city of San Diego where she garnered a passion for performing at the early age of eight. It wasn’t until watching actor Robert de Niro’s Oscar nominated performance in Awakenings, thats when she was driven to pursue her acting career full-time.

At the age of 16, Natalie landed her first recurring role as Christina on the Nickelodeon TV Series THE BROTHERS GARCIA. From there she landed a once-in-a-lifetime gig to star with the Grammy Award Winning Band COLDPLAY at the Hollywood Bowl in a major MTV promotional spot. She had also caught the eye of (actor/director/producer) Robert Townsend, who tapped her to play the lead role of Saundra opposite Sean P. Diddy Combs boy band (B5) for a Disney pilot. She has then shown off her versatility on other television shows such as Disney’s CORY IN THE HOUSE, HEROES, THE SHIELD, WITHOUT A TRACE, CRASH, ABC Family’s SWITCHED AT BIRTH, THE BRIDGE and most recently cast to play in the FXX series YOU’RE THE WORST .

From there, Natalie forayed her acting into movies such as THE VIRGIN OF JUAREZ starring Minnie Driver. In 2008 she had finally landed her breakout performance as accident-destined Yolanda in the Sundance Feature Film HAMLET 2 (starring Steve Coogan, Catherine Keener and Amy Poehler) . Other theatrical credits include DIRTY GIRL (starring William H. Macy and Milla Jovovich) which was picked up by The Weinstein Company.

In addition to her now expanding acting resume, she’s also a bilingual (English/Spanish) singer/songwriter she was lead singer of the Latin/Alternative Rock Band AZTORIA. Natalie has performed in such hot L.A. venues as THE CONGA ROOM and headlined most recently WHISKEY A-GO-GO on Sunset Boulevard.
